Order by duct opening size. "10x4" means a 10" × 4" duct opening — the hole in your wall, ceiling, or floor. Do not order by the face size of your old cover.

2. What makes the Slim Design different from a standard 10x4 linear slot diffuser?

7. Can I use a filter with this vent cover?

No. Filters belong at the air handler or furnace, not at individual vent covers. A filter placed at the vent can restrict airflow and strain the HVAC system. If you need filtration at the vent opening, use an air return grille with pre-filter.

8. Can this be installed outdoors?

Yes, but only in sheltered locations such as covered patios, garages, and enclosed porches. It is not rated for direct rain exposure.
