Refund policy
At Green Vent, we are dedicated to helping you improve your home’s airflow and aesthetics with premium air vent covers, floor registers, linear slot diffusers, and return air grilles. We want your installation experience to be simple, accurate, and seamless.
We understand that sizing mistakes can happen or that a style may not match your space as expected. This Return and Refund Policy explains how returns are handled for Green Vent ventilation products.
30-Day Return Period
Green Vent accepts eligible returns within 30 days from the date your package is delivered.
Eligibility for Returns
Because our products are hardware components, returned items must remain in new and resalable condition. To be eligible for a return, the item must meet the following conditions:
- The item must be unused, uninstalled, and undamaged.
- The item must not show installation marks, screw marks, stripped holes, scratched paint, bent fins, bent dampers, or damage caused by attempted installation.
- The item must be clean and free of dust, debris, or jobsite residue.
- The item must be returned in its original packaging with all included hardware, accessories, and protective materials.
- A valid order number or proof of purchase is required.
Tip: Please measure your duct opening, which is the hole in the floor, wall, or ceiling, before ordering. Do not rely only on the size of your old vent cover faceplate. Measuring the duct opening helps avoid unnecessary returns.
How to Initiate a Return
Please do not send products back to the address shown on the original shipping label without contacting us first. Returns must be approved before shipment and may need to be sent to a specific return warehouse.
To request a return:
- Email our support team at support@greenvent.us.
- Include your order number and the reason for the return.
- If your return request is approved, we will provide a Return Authorization and return instructions by email.
Return Method and Return Label
Eligible returns are accepted by mail.
For approved eligible returns within the United States, Green Vent will provide a prepaid return shipping label by email. Customers can download and print the return label at no cost.
Please do not return any product before your return request is approved.
Return Cost and Restocking Fee
Green Vent offers free returns for approved eligible products within the United States.
We do not charge a restocking fee for approved returns.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order immediately after delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact us at support@greenvent.us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
Examples may include:
- Bent corners or warped faceplates
- Stuck dampers or louvers
- Visible finish defects, such as scratches or uneven coating
- Incorrect size, color, or product model shipped
If the issue is confirmed, we will provide an appropriate solution, such as a replacement, refund, or return instructions, at no additional cost to you.
Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns for:
- Custom-made products, including special sizes, special finishes, or made-to-order items
- Items marked as Final Sale or clearance
- Gift cards
- Items that have been installed, used, modified, damaged after delivery, or returned with missing parts
- Items returned without prior authorization
Exchanges
Green Vent does not process direct exchanges.
If you ordered the wrong size, color, or model, the fastest solution is to return the eligible item for a refund and place a new order for the correct product. This helps ensure the correct item is shipped without waiting for the return to be fully processed.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will notify you by email whether your refund has been approved or rejected.
If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that your bank, credit card company, or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
Original shipping fees, if any, are non-refundable unless the return is due to a Green Vent error, a defective item, or an incorrect item shipped.
