Refund policy

At Green Vent, we are dedicated to helping you improve your home's airflow and aesthetics with our premium air vent covers, floor registers, and AC solutions. We want your installation to be seamless.

However, we understand that sizing mistakes happen or styles might not match your decor. Below is our Return & Refund Policy, tailored to ensure a fair process for our ventilation products.

30-Day Return Period

We offer a 30-day return window. You have 30 days from the date you physically receive your package to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns (Important)

Because our products are hardware components, strict conditions apply to ensure items remain in resalable condition. To be eligible for a return:

  • No Installation Marks: The item must NOT have been installed. We cannot accept returns on vents that show screw marks, stripped holes, scratched paint from screwdrivers, or bent fins/dampers caused by forced installation.
  • Original Condition: The product must be unused, unworn, and free of dust or debris.
  • Complete Packaging: Must be returned in the original box with all included hardware (mounting screws, clips) and protective packaging intact.
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid Order ID or receipt is required.

Tip: Please double-check your Duct Opening size (the hole in the wall/floor) before ordering, not the size of your old vent cover faceplate, to avoid unnecessary returns.

How to Initiate a Return

Please do not send items back to the return address on the shipping label without contacting us first, as our returns are processed at a specific warehouse facility.

  1. Email our support team at support@greenvent.us.
  2. Provide your Order # and the reason for the return (e.g., "Ordered wrong size", "Style mismatch").
  3. If your request is approved, we will provide you with a Return Authorization and the correct warehouse address to ship your item to.

Damages and Defects

Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. Given the material nature (steel, aluminum, plastic) of our products, please check for:

  • Bent corners or warped faceplates;
  • Stuck dampers or louvers;
  • Finish defects (scratches, uneven powder coating).

If you find any manufacturing defects or shipping damage, contact us immediately at support@greenvent.us with photos so we can send a replacement free of charge.

Non-returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Custom-made vents: Special orders with custom sizes or finishes.
  • Items purchased on "Final Sale" or clearance.
  • Hazardous materials (if applicable to specific HVAC cleaning fluids).
  • Gift cards.

Exchanges

If you ordered the wrong size (e.g., ordered a 4x10" but need a 4x12"), the fastest way to get the correct item is to return the current item for a refund and place a separate order for the new size immediately. This ensures the correct size is shipped to you without waiting for the return to process.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse (checking for installation marks and completeness), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Please note that original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
